Best K-drama on Amazon Prime 2026: Amazon Prime Video has established itself as a significant destination for Korean drama content in 2026, featuring a diverse slate that includes the romantic-comedy hit ‘Spring Fever’ and the upcoming thriller ‘Siren’s Kiss.’ The streaming platform has scheduled multiple high-profile premieres throughout the year, catering to fans of various genres .
The romantic-comedy series ‘Spring Fever,’ starring Lee Joo-bin and Ahn Bo-hyun, premiered on January 7 and quickly gained traction, reaching No. 2 worldwide in the international streamer’s TV Shows category according to the OTT tracking site FlixPatrol . The series follows Yoon Bom (Lee Joo-bin), a former Seoul teacher who relocates to a rural seaside town after a painful past, where she meets Seon Jae-gyu (Ahn Bo-hyun), a local tough guy who becomes a softie and devoted uncle to his orphaned nephew .
In an exclusive virtual interview, Ahn Bo-hyun explained his decision to join the project: ‘First of all, the script was just really intriguing and the dialogue from my character was done in a dialect (Busan dialect) that I felt very confident in. So I wanted to do that well and then… I felt like reading about this character through the script, I thought I could do a great job bringing a lot of fun and liveliness to it. So that’s why I decided to join.’
Lee Joo-bin also shared her motivation: ‘For me, first of all, when I read the script, it was just such a fun read, and I thought that I could do a great job in portraying the character in a very fun way. Also, the location for our filming process was going to be a seaside village. So, I felt like being part of the production would feel like I was traveling every day, and I thought that each moment was going to be just filled with happiness. So that’s why I wanted to do it.’
The series features a unique setting, with over 90 percent of scenes either showing the ocean or some part of nature or being outdoors, according to Ahn Bo-hyun. He noted that compared to other rom-com series, the show offers ‘great banter between the characters and also great chemistry.’
On March 2, Prime Video premiered the high-stakes romantic thriller ‘Siren’s Kiss,’ starring Park Min-young and Wi Ha-joon . The series follows Cha Woo-seok (Wi Ha-joon), an ace investigator with the Insurance Fraud Investigation Unit, who becomes dangerously entangled with Han Seol-ah (Park Min-young), a chief auctioneer at a leading art auction house whose three fiancés have all died under suspicious circumstances .

The reality-based romantic melodrama stars Seo Kang-jun and Ahn Eun-jin as a couple in a 10-year relationship who face unfamiliar emotions despite their familiarity .
In the drama, Seo Kang-jun plays Namgoong Ho, a deputy at a bakery who would do anything for his partner, while Ahn Eun-jin portrays Lee Mi-do, a director who clings to her dream of filmmaking despite real-life obstacles.
